Garden of Peace Project was created to uplift, uphold, and empower the narratives and lived experiences of LGBTQIA+ individuals, particularly trans people of color, and to address the lack of education, employment, healthcare, and housing, and the violence that impacts all LGBTQIA+ individuals.
This past year, Garden of Peace Project celebrated 2 years and hosted many firsts -- the first ever Black, Trans Leadership Summit in Pittsburgh, the first ever all-butch and trans fashion show in Pittsburgh, and attended the first ever LGBT Innovation Summit at the White House!!
Garden of Peace Project is committed to building the community, empowering individuals, and restoring relationships through outreach.
